Beating The Algorithm
By 2021 I was having so much fun teaching animation remotely that I decided to release one video every week on social media for a full year. It was a fun (and exhausting) experience that led to thousands of followers and over a million views on just a single TikTok. Most of my content was educational tutorials on animation and streaming. I even had new students in my classes who already knew me from my animation tutorials!

A screenshot of my TikTok profile as of 2026, you can see my most viewed tutorial has over a million views.

Youtube
Despite my shorts being optimized for Youtube, they performed better on TikTok. My top performing videos (both short and long-form) on Youtube are all educational tutorials on animation or streaming.
I stopped posting videosĀ in early 2022, but have seen consistent subscriber growth since then.
